The Kavundampalayam Candidate from the DMK party expressed his gratitude for a smooth TN polling session yesterday
Coimbatore: After the peaceful conduct of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections yesterday, Paiyya R Krishnan thanked all the people belonging to the Assembly constituencies of Kavundampalayam and Coimbatore North for voting and fulfilling their national duty.
In a statement, Paiyya R Krishnan said, "When we visited your houses to the campaign, you showered us with love and affection as if we are your own. We promised to be thankful for this. From the moment the election date was declared, everyone who is a part of DMK's Coimbatore West Zone toiled hard every second without blinking an eye or worrying about hunger. You campaigned on behalf of VM Shanmugasundaram and myself. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the administrators of the Area - Union - Circle - Branch organizations and the organizers of all the teams of the association etc. We would not be here without you."
He also said that every vote cast by the people is going to make history and he asked the people to help in keeping the polling equipments safe, all day and night till the day of counting.
Paiyya R Krishnan added, "On behalf of the DMK in the Coimbatore West District, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the executives of the Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani alliance parties, volunteers, media and journalists who have been supporting the DMK for so many days."
He also confidently said that the rule of the slaves will come to an end soon. "We will get a new beginning under Kalaingar's and Thalapathy's rule," Paiyya R Krishnan added.
