Coimbatore: BJP's Coimbatore District leader Nandakumar filed a complaint with the Coimbatore Election Officer and District Collector Nagarajan seeking action against Makkal Needhi Maiam's leader Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruthi Haasan for violating election rules.
Nandakumar petitioned saying, "MNM leader, Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruthi Haasan trespassed onto polling booths in the Coimbatore South Assembly constituency while election rules were in force. This is a criminal offence under the law. I urge you to take appropriate action against such criminal offences and violations of election rules."
