AIADMK leader joins DMK on polling day in Kinathukadavu constituency
Coimbatore: With legislative elections in Tamil Nadu being held in a single phase today, voters have been eagerly queuing at their respective polling booths in Kinathukadavu constituency of Coimbatore district to cast their votes.
The Coimbatore East District DMK Officer-in-Charge, Maruthamalai Senadhipathi visited the polling booths at Kinathukadavu Government High School, today.
Kinathukadavu's AIADMK Amma Peravai City Joint Secretary, Siva has abanadoned AIADMK and joined DMK and was welcomed by the DMK with a shawl. It is reported that the news of one of its own cadres leaving the AIADMK party to join the DMK on polling day has come as a shock to the AIADMK party.
