Kamal Haasan alleges distribution of cash in Coimbatore South constituency
Coimbatore: Coimbatore South's Makkal Needhi Maiam candidate, Kamal Haasan arrived in Coimbatore to visit polling booths in Coimbatore South constituency after casting his vote in Thenampettai, in Chennai.

After visiting the polling booth in Kempatty Colony area of Coimbatore South constituency, Kamal Haasan addressed the media. "Coimbatore South has the highest turnout and been the busiest. I arrived here to inspect the polling booths personally after receiving information that a token was provided for receiving money, which indicates that money distribution is rampant here.
Also, I have a copy of the details regarding the issue of the token. I will lodge a complaint with the Election Officer regarding this. Such fraudulent electoral practices should be frozen, investigated and prevented from occurring in the future. We will urge re-voting with the increase in the number of complaints," stated Kamal Haasan.
