Sudden uninterrupted rains for 10 minutes beats the heat in Coimbatore City

Public from these areas were shocked to see no signs of rain in the neighbouring locations.

Coimbatore: It was all cloudy and dim throughout Coimbatore district yesterday.

Last evening, a sudden downpour was seen around 5.40 pm which lasted for just 15 minutes in the areas of Ukkadam, Idayarpalayam etc.

Public from these areas were shocked to see no signs of rain in the neighbouring locations. Also, the public who entered Thadagam Road from other areas were also drenched by this unpredicted rain, making it sad for some and happy for others. The rains have brought some cool breeze as an aftermath.

Since the sudden rain has caused a change in the weather, doctors in the area have advised people to be alert for rising body temperature and other ailments.
