Coimbatore: Since tomorrow is Election Day in Tamil Nadu, the task of sending voting machines has been intensified by the officials.
Following this, 1050 polling stations and 4427 polling booths have been set up in the Coimbatore district. This time, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been an increase in a number of booths.
The work of sending voting machines to the polling booths of each constituency has been going on since this morning.
Voting machines, special chairs for disabled people and other equipment that will be needed at the polling stations will be sent through lorries to the polling booths across the 10 constituencies in Coimbatore by this evening.
