EVM and VPAT machines which were kept under custody in a sealed room at a private college near Palakkad Road have been dispatched to polling stations in Pollachi and Valparai under tight security.
Coimbatore: On the eve of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections which is scheduled for April 6, the EVM and VPAT machines which were kept under custody in a sealed room at a private college near Palakkad Road have been dispatched to about 318 polling stations in Pollachi and 294 polling stations in Valparai.

The EVM and VPAT machines were opened in front of the major political party representatives and then sent to the respective polling stations in Valparai and Pollachi. Border Security Force officials along with police officials are guarding the voting machines when they were being transported.
