DMK candidate Paiyya (A) R. Krishnan, who is contesting from the Kavundampalayam constituency was engaged in an intense poll gathering at the 36th, 33rd and 35th wards near Kalapatti today. It was his last day of the election campaign.
He was seen vigorously campaigning at the areas namely 32nd Ward, Park Nagar, Brindavan Nagar, Chowpakia Nagar, Beauty Nagar, Airport and Under 33rd Ward, Kalapatti, Siva Nagar, Ashok Nagar and Under 35th Ward, Attikuttai, PLS Nagar and Lakshmi Nagar.
Paiyya R Krishnan later reached to Kallimedu and completed his campaign for votes in RG Pudur.
He appealed to the people for votes in favour of DMK and the party members shared manifesto pamplets of DMK.
MDMK District Secretary RR Mohankumar, Secular Progressive Alliance Countampalayam Assembly Constituency Officers TP Subramaniam (DMK), CV Thangavelu (MDMK) ) And Kanagaraj of the CPM, Suba and KC Murthy of the CPI were present at the campaign locations with the candidate.
