Minister SP Velumani accuses opinion polls for 'forcing opinions' on public

Minister SP Velumani has accused that the recent opinion polls are just a tool to force opinions on the public, ahead of 2021 TN elections.

Coimbatore: Minister SP Velumani met with the reporters at the Sugunapuram area of Coimbatore.

He said, "AIADMK government had achieved unprecedented growth in Coimbatore. New roads have been laid in Coimbatore and major roads have been widened. This has reduced the number of accidents. We have set up 6 new government colleges. Athikadavu-Avinashi project and the Coimbatore airport expansion work are underway."

SP Velumani added, "Coimbatore Government Hospital has been upgraded. No construction or land grabbing has happened in Coimbatore after 2011 and women have security. I am grateful to the people who voted and worked with a conscience. Edappadi Palanisamy must come to power again."

He accused the recent opinion polls that are released by various media. "Polls are all forced numbers to prevent AIADMK's win. The truth is that people want Edappadi Palanisamy to come back to power. Documents have been seized from key DMK executives relating to providing cash for voting. But AIADMK does not involve in such activities," SP Velumani commented.

SP Velumani is contesting from Thondamuthur constituency in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
