'Both minority and majority community want DMK to come to power:' Manithaneya Jananaayaga Katchi President, Thamimum Ansari

Manithaneya Jananaayaga Katchi President, Thamimum Ansari campaigned in favour of DMK in the Itery area.


Coimbatore: Manithaneya Jananaayaga Katchi President, Thamimum Ansari campaigned on Saturday, in favour of DMK in Itery area to garner support for Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani's Kurichi Prabhakaran who is contesting in the Kinathukadavu constituency.



During his campaign, Thamimum Ansari said, "The upcoming Assembly elections will lend experience to every political party. A war is currently on to safeguard democracy, social justice and harmony in Tamil Nadu. To safeguard the future of Tamil Nadu, policies of Dravidian parties will alone help and so people in Tamil Nadu should vote for the DMK alliance. That is why Manithaneya Jananaayaga Katchi has extended its support to DMK," he added.



He further reiterated that both minority and majority people have decided that DMK should come to power. "DMK alliance in Tamil Nadu will win in more than 200 constituencies since people are looking forward to a power change," he added.



"Releasing people who are in prison for over 10 years, abolishment of wine shops, taking a stand regarding the Citizenship Amendment Bill are some of the promises made by the DMK Chief, M K Stalin," stated Thamimum Ansari.
