Coimbatore: The DMK party members from the Women's wing went across the village areas to gather support for DMK candidate Kurichi Prabhakaran, who is contesting in the Kinathukadavu constituency under Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani.
As a part of their drive, the Coimbatore District Women's Wing members led by Deputy Organizer Shakthi Saranya went across the village areas including Sankarayapuram, Nalliyankuttaiputhur and other areas in the Kinathukadavu to gather support for DMK candidate Kurichi Prabhakaran.
Women's wing members today sought support from female workers at the workplaces.
During the campaign, the members explained the welfare schemes for women promised by DMK and urged them to vote for 'Rising Sun' symbol.
