BJP Tejasvi Surya, who visited Coimbatore yesterdayhad tweeted about his hotel experience but it was rather politicised to which Sree Annapoorna responded.
Coimbatore: Hotel Sree Annapoorna Sree Gowrishankar which is one of the iconic brands in Coimbatore has responded to the politicising hotel review shared by BJP leader Tejasvi Surya on Twitter yesterday.
Tejasvi Surya, the BJP leader visited Coimbatore yesterdayto support and campaign for BJP Coimbatore South candidate Vanathi Srinivasan. He had his breakfast at the famous restaurant Sree Annapoorna Sree Gowrishankar with his party members.
Later, he took this to Twitter and said, "Cashier hesitated to accept money. I told him that we are from BJP, a party that respects all and protects all. Not DMK to do roll-call even from small businesses."
Following this, the restaurant made a statement to clarify his comment. They made a post on Facebook carrying a screenshot of Tejasvi Surya's tweet and said, "We are glad to have served you at Annapoorna. We greet everyone with the same love and gratitude. No one has ever forced us anything for free."
Sree Annapoorna also clarified that they did not receive money from him as they respect him for his service to society. The post read, "As a token of love and respect, we sometimes refrain from taking money from the people who work for the society."
