7 Intelligence officers transferred to Armed Reserve Forces in Coimbatore City: Police Commissioner takes action.
Coimbatore: Police Commissioner, Davidson ordered the transfer of seven intelligence officers to the Armed Reserve Forces. Davidson has been appointed by the Election Commission as the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner. After taking charge, he held a consultation meeting with the intelligence services. He warned intelligence officials at the meeting not to act in favor of any political party.
The Police Commissioner ordered the transfer of seven intelligence officers who served in the Intelligence Department of Big Bazaar Street, Racecourse, Saravanampatti, Kuniyamuthur, Singanallur and R S Puram police station. It was reported that all the 15 stations within the Coimbatore city limits were heavily involved in conducting illegal feud settlements. The Police Commissioner stated that the transfer had been ordered only after continuous monitoring.
