AIADMK Minister SP Velumani today participated in a public meeting held in Singanallur constituency campaigning in favour of AIADMK candidate K R Jayaraman.
Addressing the public, S P Velumani said, "Singanallur constituency is one of the most important areas of Coimbatore but this constituency's previous MLA DMK Karthik has not done any development in the area but only had the habit of walking out of the state assembly, every time. But our AIADMK candidate K R Jayaraman has been working continuously among the people. He has been constantly helping people with their needs even during the Covid-19 period when he helped people with his own money. Coimbatore has seen overwhelming development during the AIADMK regime. Coimbatore itself has gotten a makeover, especially in the infrastructure sector as many flyovers has been completed during our AIADMK regime. We have also taken action to solve the 70-year old problem of the Athikadavu water supply issue," he added.
"DMK has done nothing for Coimbatore so far. Stalin has served both as the Home Minister and Deputy Chief Minister but does not know anything. He is someone who reads what people write and give him. As long as Karunanidhi was alive, he did not let M K Stalin to be in power. After his demise, Stalin is trying to take the easy route to become the Chief Minister. Party seniors are still travelling as side members at the base level, while Stalin and his son Udhayanidhi Stalin are going around in their cars," he added.
"DMK collided with the ruling party during the Sri Lankan war and cheated the people of tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth is coming out without wearing his wig but Stalin addressed the people via video conferencing sitting at his home wearing makeup which no one will forget. Stalin only knows how to cheat people but Edappadi Palanisamy is not like that, he will do what he says. Vaiko has also said Stalin has about Rs. 1 crore from the 2G spectrum scam. The Karunanidhi family came to Chennai from Thiruvarur without even taking a ticket. If we think about DMK, we can only remember land acquisition, scam, unstable electricity and so people must think before voting," stated S P Velumani.
"We are asking for people's support after executing the necessary schemes and plans. I assure you that AIADMK candidate K R Jayaraman will do much more for the Singanallur constituency," reiterated S P Velumani.
