Recently a week back, Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Sumit Sharan and Coimbatore District Collector Rajamani, who had served in the district for more than 5 years, were transferred. Davidson Devasirvatham was appointed as the new City Commissioner and S Nagarajan as the new District Collector.
Also, Dinakaran, who was the IG of the West Zone was transferred and A Amalraj, a former City Commissioner of Coimbatore district is now appointed as the West Zone IG.
