Under AIADMK regime there will be no room for caste or religious riots - Minister Velumani assures traders in Townhall.
Coimbatore: Two days after violence erupted in BJP's two-wheeler rally in Coimbatore while welcoming UP CM Yogi Adiyanath, AIADMK Minister SP Velumani met with the business community and trade union executives in Townhall area and expressed his grief.
Interacting with traders at Townhall area where the incident took place, Minister SP Velumani assured his unrelenting support. "There will be no room for caste or religious riots during AIADMK regime. As always, our government will encourage solidarity and brotherhood among people and strive to make Coimbatore a safer place."
The Minister also appealed to the traders throughout the state to maintain peace to make Tamil Nadu a peaceful state.
Coimbatore North Assembly candidate Amman K Arjunan and Coimbatore Periyakadai Street Vendors Welfare Association executives Kamaluddin, Kul Muhammed and UK Umar were also present with SP Velumani.
