Coimbatore: In the Sugunapuram area in Coimbatore, Minister S P Velumani along with his daughter Vandana (alias) Sarangi who is a Class 10 student met the public to garner support for her dad.
Addressing the public from an open van, Vandana said, "Amma has fulfilled all our requests. Some say, but they never do but the Edappadi-led AIADMK party has done everything for us. Schemes like the loan waiver for farmers, quota for government school students to study medicine, Amma mini clinics which have been opened everywhere, and household necessities like rice, lentils, groceries and vegetables were also sent.
My father served people door-to-door during the Covid-19 period by ensuring people had all that they need. You all know how much my father helps. Amma's government will now also do more than promised. My dad has served you four times. Please vote for him again by considering him as your family member," she appealed.
"My dad has also done so much like clearing ponds, building colleges and roads under the Coimbatore Smart City project. In the last five years of his tenure, he has done work which normally takes 50 years to implement. You must vote for him," concluded Vandana in an eloquent campaign speech.
