M K Stalin rallies support for Mathasarbatra Murpokku Munnani candidates in Madathukulam Udumalai Valparai constituency

M K Stalin campaigned in support of the Mathasaratra Murpokku Munnani candidates in Madathukulam Udumalai Valparai constituency

Coimbatore: DMK leader MK Stalin campaigned on Wednesday at the Madathukulam constituency near Udumalaipettai in Tirupur district. The campaign was organized on behalf of the Mathasarbatra Murpokku Kootani to rally support for the DMK candidate Jayaram Krishnan, who is contesting from Madathukulam Assembly constituency, Udumalai Assembly constituency, for the Congress candidate from Valparai Assembly constituency and Arumugam, the Communist Party of India candidate.

Speaking at the campaign rally, M K Stalin addressed the crowd gathered in Madathukulam and asked them if this was an election campaign rally or a victory ceremony. Minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan is the chairman of the Cable TV Board.

M K Stalin said, "There were no major welfare projects done and hence the results of media polls indicate that our alliance will win. But beyond that, the only AIADMK MP who won the parliamentary election has put a picture of Prime Minister Modi without putting his party's photo on the letter pad. Prime Minister Modi, who recently came to Dharapuram spoke without a semblance of dignity that befit a Head of all states. We too can retaliate stooping to that level but I will not talk like that because I am Kalaignar's son."

"The UP Chief Minister says there is no security for women in Tamil Nadu when Uttar Pradesh is the state where 59,000 sexual offences have taken place," derided M K Stalin. "In Udumalai Assembly constituency, I will implement the Anaimalayaru Nallaru project to enrich farmers. Steps will be taken to implement the long-awaited Upper Amravati project of the farmers of Madathukulam area. The support price for sugarcane and paddy will be increased. To prevent wastage of tomatoes since the area is rich in tomato farming, a tomato sauce factory will be set up," he added.

M K Stalin also requested the people in the constituency to vote keeping in mind that he can become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu only if the candidate contesting in this constituency wins.
