Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received a warm welcome on behalf of the BJP party at Coimbatore airport. He began his campaign after offering prayers at Puliakulam Vinayagar temple.
Coimbatore: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath landed in Coimbatore this morning to campaign for Vanathi Srinivasan, the leader ofAll India Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) women's wing and the candidate for Coimbatore South constituency.
CM Yogi Adityanath was seen rallying from Ramanathapuram and covered many areas like Trichy Road, Government Hospital and Town Hall. He then addressed the gathering in Thermutti area.
"DMK-Congress alliance doesn't know to respect mothers and uses filthy language against women. Those who can't safeguard women cannot come to power," he spoke at the gathering and asked the public to vote in favour of BJP Candidate Vanathi Srinivasan.
Today at the Coimbatore Airport, CM Yogi Adityanath was welcomed by BJP members and the Hindu Munnani party, in a traditional manner with music and 'aarti'.
He commenced a rally to the Munthi Vinayagar Temple in Puliakulam to seek blessings and campaigned for votes. The gathering received support from the temple administrators also.
Due to UP CM Yogi Adityanath's arrival in Coimbatore, heavy police security arrangements were made along the way the rally was conducted.
He is touring in Tamil Nadu and Kerala to support BJP candidates for the upcoming 2021 elections.
