Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister and AIADMK Co-Organizer Edappadi K Palanisamy and Deputy Chief Minister and AIADMK Organizer O Panneerselvam were also present at the meeting to represent their NDA alliance.
Deputy CM O Paneerselvam welcomed PM Modi on behalf of AIADMK and the alliance parties. He also spoke about how the DMK-Congress alliance hasn't done any beneficial schemes or plans for the people. Following him, Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy addressed the gathering and said, "Our alliance is a strong team that will definitely win the elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working 24*7 for the betterment of India."

PM Modi began his speech with mentions of Tirupur personalities like Tirupur Kumaran, Dheeran Chinnamalai and Kalaingarayan. He emphasized the AIADMK-BJP alliance and their plans for Tamil Nadu. "In a few days, we will get new MLAs and to choose the right members, the NDA has now appeared in front of you. The Central Government will take into consideration the ideas for railway connectivity, development and protection of the Tamil language. Vote for us to achieve promising success in Tamil Nadu," Modi said.
PM Modi was also seen attacking the DMK-Congress alliance in his speech. He named them the representation of nepotism in politics. He also criticised the recent controversies of DMK, citing the remarks passed by DMK leaders A Raja and Dindigul I Leoni. Modi said, " DMK leaders have spoken bad about CM's mom, they will talk bad about women even if god comes here, it's their habit."
Mentions about the 1989 attack of DMK on former CM J Jayalalitha and West Bengal were also done in his speech. Modi expressed his grief and said, "Congress and the DMK have launched their outdated 2G missile to attack the women of Tamil Nadu. They are even friendly with West Bengal party TMC, who does not also know to respect women. Their alliance and friendship are always against women."
At the public gathering in Dharapuram, PM Modi then spoke about the ideas of NDA for Tamil Nadu. He said, " Kongu regional people are good in industrial and business development. BJP, along with the alliance parties will support all developments. New toilets, gas stations and house building schemes will be improved. More importance on spare parts manufacturing will also help on a large scale."
He accused DMK-Congress that they are corrupt and cannot do any development in India. "They can only give power insufficiency which will not help anyone. We know that farming and agriculture is on a path of great development. Hence, we have solved the water insufficiency problem. To reap more benefits, everyone must read the BJP party's election manifesto. This election is for the better future." Modi added.
Speaking at the event, Deputy CM O Paneerselvam commented, "Congress sent India into complete darkness. Under Modi's government, we have 14 medical colleges established in one year while Congress never provided approval for 1 college. They were the ones who banned Jallikattu. But with AIADMK's cooperation with Modi, we were able to permit the Jallikattu festival after the massive protest in Marina beach by students. Modi is the real hero."
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy was talking about the remarkable cooperation of the state government with the Central government. "The Central Government has been agreeing to all the requests made by Tamil Nadu. We have been allocated Rs. 1,65,000 crores to develop highways. Avinashi-Athikadavu project will ensure to not leave any lands dry. For such developments to take place, both the Centre and State governments must be closely connected," he said.
The leaders were also seen campaigning for BJP State President L Murugan, who is contesting from the Dharapuram constituency in the upcoming elections. BJP State President L Murugan said, "With PM Modi's arrival to Dharapuram we can expect what kind of development the place is going to witness."
PM Modi was honoured with a 'vel' as a symbol of the warrior by the allied parties. The stage in Dharapuram was shared by TMC President GK Vasan, AC Shanmugam and many others. Around 13 MLA candidates took part in this meeting and requested support in the upcoming elections.
