5 injured as car crashes into a tree in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Five persons traveling in a car from Coimbatore to Erode were injured after they crashed into a tree. A car was heading towards Erode via Coimbatore at around 8 this morning. They lost control and crashed into a nearby tree as they approached CODISSIA. The car doors slammed shut as it collided with a tree.
Hearing the screams, the locals ran and opened the door and rescued 5 people inside the car and sent them to the hospital. Upon information Peelamedu police arrived at the scene and are investigating. An investigation is underway into the identity of the 5 people and where they were heading to.
