On getting information about the fire accident, the fire and rescue officials immediately arrived at the scene and are trying to put out the fire.
Coimbatore: Today (04.03.2021) fire again broke out in the Corporation Garbage Disposal Yard in Vellalore, Coimbatore. Due to the heavy haze of smoke which was emitted from the fire, people in the surrounding area suffocated.
Garbage that is collected from the entire Corporation is brought to the garbage disposal site in Vellalore, Coimbatore where they will be separated based on their standard. Fire broke out a few days ago since there was a heavy waste dump at the site. The area locals were affected at that time.
However, a fire accident has happened again at the Vellalore garbage disposal site, which then became a huge fire.
