Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 494 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,36,473 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 3,990.
Among districts, Chennai led with 184 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 44 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 50,783 today, totalling to 1,76,30,655 getting examined till date.
