Coimbatore: Burglary incident at an auto drivers house in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore has caused fear among the locals. Burglars, reported to have stolen 5 sovereigns of gold jewels along with 1lakh rupees.
Sirajuddin (40) is a resident of Bharathi Nagar area in Kuniyamuthur. He is an auto driver who also has a spare parts store in Gandhipuram.
However, Sirajuddin and his family members locked their house day before yesterday left to visit their family members in Saravanampatti for a wedding ceremony
On coming back to their house in Bharathi Nagar today morning, the family were shocked to find the back door of their house open. On going inside the saw 1lakh rupees kept to deposit at the bank missing also with 5 sovereigns of gold missing.
Post this shocking incident, Sirajuddin filed a complaint at the Kuniyamuthur police station. After receiving the complaint police officials are now investigating the case with the help of forensic fingerprint analysts to collect evidence from the scene.
