ABP Network-C Voter Survey Presents the Second Opinion Poll for Southern Regions

Coimbatore: C-Voter is the only polling agency to get the 2016 election results right, has released the ABP Network-C Voter Survey Second Opinion Poll for Southern Regions. As the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the poll schedule for West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry Assembly elections 2021, ABP Network released the findings of its final opinion poll survey across the three regions. Along with research partner C-Voter (Centre for Voting Opinion & Trends in Election Research), the network conducted opinion poll surveys to provide a clearer picture of how the ballot game stands in these regions.

ABP Network had recently conducted the first round of opinion poll for the five states in January, wherein UPA was leading in Tamil Nadu, LDF in Kerala, and NDA in Puducherry. What’s more is that, these opinion polls mark the beginning of ABP Network’s reign in the southern region as the network is soon likely to enter the Tamil Nadu market.

As for the methodology and survey details, the C-Voter survey reached out to a total of approximately 8796+ people in Kerala, 1647 + people in Puducherry, 16457+ people in Tamil Nadu. It was conducted through CATI (Telephonic survey).

The ABP Network-C Voter survey has revealed that as per public opinion, UPA is leading in Tamil Nadu with 41.4% vote share (154 to 162 seats), whereas NDA stands second with 28.6% vote share (58 to 66 seats). When asked in the survey, ‘Who is the most suitable CM candidate for Tamil Nadu’, Mr. M.K Stalin was leading with 39.4% votes, whereas E. K. Palaniswami was the second most popular choice of the people with 32.1 %.

In Puducherry, NDA is leading with 45.8% vote share, followed by UPA with 36.2% vote share. Moreover, Mr. N. Rangaswamy was seen to be the most desirable CM candidate in the state with 45.8% votes, according to the survey.

In Kerala, LDF is leading with 40.1% vote share, followed by UDF with 32.6% vote share. In the list of most popular CM candidates, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan topped the list with 38.5% votes, and Mr. Oomen Chandy was the second most popular choice with 27.0%
