Coimbatore: Applicants to the post of veterinary welfare assistant took part in a demonstration todayin front of the E-Seva centre at Tatabad, Coimbatore.

The protestors said that they had been receiving invitations to attend the personal interview for 4 years but yet the interview was cancelled by the government every year stating some reason. They also said that the government has not given any reason this year for cancelling the personal interview.
An interviewee who came from Valparai stated that " this interview being cancelled every year is very disappointing, we are demonstrating that by protesting todaycarrying the invites we received during the last 4 years."

Demonstrators urged that government officials must give a proper explanation about the election date and also demanded the government to fill the vacant posts by choosing the people who had registered earlier and not the people who are newly applying for the position.
