As a way of increasing the economy of Valparai and to promote its tourism, a Botanical Garden was inaugurated todayin Valparai.
Coimbatore: Valparai is a hill station located in the Coimbatore district which is a popular tourist destination for people from other states like Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra and foreigners visiting India.
As a way of increasing the economy of Valparai and to promote its tourism Valparai Assembly Member Kasturi Vasu took an initiative in the construction of a Botanical Garden near BAB office near Pollachi Road like Ooty, in Valparai.

As the work at the Botanical Garden was expedited, the construction has finally come to an end. Tamilnadu Rural Development Minister SP Velumani todayinaugurated the Botanical Garden under the orders of Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy.

The event was attended by Valparai Municipal Commissioner Dr Pavunraj, Manager Nanjundan, Valparai Co-operative Bank Managing Director Valparai V. Ameedh, Co-operative Bank Deputy Director Mayil Ganesan and a large number of public and government officials.
