As a way of increasing the economy of Valparai and to promote its tourism Valparai Assembly Member Kasturi Vasu took an initiative in the construction of a Boat House at the Stanmore Road in Valparai and the construction of the boat house was done in full speed.

As the boat house construction has finally come to an end, Tamilnadu Rural Development Minister SP Velumani today inaugurated the boat house under the orders of Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy.

The construction of a boat house at Valparai Stanmore Road was in full swing at the initiative of to increase the tourist arrivals and improve the economy in Valparai.
The event was attended by Valparai Municipal Commissioner Dr Pavunraj, Manager Nanjundan, Valparai Co-operative Bank Managing Director Valparai V. Ameedh, Co-operative Bank Deputy Director Mayil Ganesan and a large number of public and government officials.
