Coimbatore police arrest 2 as a result of a bizarre incident, as a mother and son attacked the landlord who asked for rent.
According to the police report, Chandrasamy, a resident of RS Puram Coimbatore, is running a hotel in the Coimbatore poo market area. Vijaya (age 48) wife of Mahalingam from Poo Market area and his son Thangaraj (23) have been staying at his hotel for the past one year. It is said that the mother and son duo did not pay their rents for the past few months.
After this Chandrasamy asked them to vacate the room as they failed to pay the rent.This led to an argument between the tenants and the landlord. Vijaya, the enraged mother and her son Thangaraj along with 2 others attacked the hotel owner Chandrasamy and also cursed him using inappropriate words. Chandrasamiy lodged a complaint with the RS Puram police officials, who have now arrested Vijaya and her son Thangaraj for assaulting the hotel owner. This bizarre incident has created a stir in Coimbatore.
