The Nilgiris: State Department of Vigilance and Anti Corruption conducted an online essay competition for students across Tamilnadu under the theme ‘Vigilant India, Prosperous India.’
Hundreds of students from various schools across the state took part in this essay writing competition in which Gopika, a 9th standard student from St Mary's Girls Higher Secondary School, Coonoor, The Nilgiris secured 7th place at the state level tournament.
Gopika was awarded with a certificate and shield from the Anti-Corruption Department Chennai. District Educational Officer, Anti Corruption and Surveillance Department Inspector and School Headmistress took part in this event.
