The cut outs of leaders MGR and Kamaraj has created a controversy amidst the members of Congress and BJP.

A grand entrance was set up by the BJP members to welcome their chief. As a part of the grand entrance flags, holdings and cutouts were kept on both sides of the roads.
A humongous cutout of Late National Congress and Tamilnadu Chief Minister Kamarajar was placed right in front of the stage, next to the cutouts of Late AIADMK Chief and TN Chief Minister MGR, BJP National President JP Naddaand TN BJP President L Murugan.
