Tamil Nadu is the only state in Tamil Nadu that has allocated Rs 25,000 crore for school education alone: Udumalai Radhakrishnan, Minister of Animal Husbandry.
Coimbatore: Udumalai Radhakrishnan, Minister of Animal Husbandry said Tamil Nadu is the only state in India that has allocated Rs 25,000 crore for school education alone.

Udumalai Radhakrishnan, Minister of Animal Husbandry inaugurated the ceremony to distribute free goats and sheep worth Rs. 23,97,000. In Unjavelampatti panchayat under Udumalai assembly constituency alone, 600 beneficiaries were provided with free goats and sheep by the Department of Animal Husbandry at an estimated cost of Rs. 90 lakhs.
In the panchayats under the Udumalai assembly constituency, 6,500 houses, 4,000 free housing plots, pension for 23,000 elderly people, employment for 7,800 people, 3,500 gold for mangalyam and 2,500 two-wheelers with 50% subsidy are being provided.

He also said that all the panchayats in the Udumalai assembly constituency have been converted into self-sufficient panchayats and Tamil Nadu was the only state to allocate Rs 25,000 crore for school education.
