Coimbatore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit the people of Coimbatore tomorrow at the CODISSIA grounds in Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.
Ahead of this grand event BJP State President L Murugan along with National Secretary CT Ravi and State Vice President Annamalai today inspected the venue where Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address.
BJP National Secretary CT Ravi stated that "PM Modi is visiting Coimbatore to inaugurate BJP's election campaign ahead of the state assembly elections. PM Modi has great respect and love towards the people of Tamilnadu that is why he has allocated schemes worth 6 lakh crores to develop Tamilnadu."
CT Ravi further added that "BJP's Vel Yatra has gained popularity among the people of Tamilnadu. Opposition party using Vel to cover the voters itself shows the strength of BJP in Tamilnadu. Post the official announcement of election date, members of NDA will work together in all the 234 election constituencies. We will help members of our alliance party win in the constituencies that we are not contesting."
During his talk about the Joining scheme of Cauvery - Gundaru, BJP National Secretary CT Ravi stated that "a decision will be made considering the welfare of both states. As a national party both states are equal to us. We will come up with a solution which will benefit the farmers of both states."
BJP State President L Murugan said that "Prime Minister Modi is all set to visit Coimbatore tomorrow to participate in a government function and will also inaugurate the election campaign in Tamilnadu. PM Modi recently announced schemes for Tamilnadu at an estimated budget of 6 lakhs. During the event tomorrow Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate some of the plans and schemes announced for Tamilnadu."
He then stated that "The campaign in Coimbatore tomorrow is only by the BJP party. We will jointly organise election campaigns with our alliance partners post the announcement of the election date in Tamilnadu."
BJP State President L Murugan then added that "More than 1 lakh people from the districts of Coimbatore, The Nilgiris, Salem and Namakkal are said to participate in the meeting tomorrow. This election campaign tomorrow will give a great boost to the BJP party members and will also help the BJP members to connect with the people." He said.
