Man tries to commit Suicide by climbing on cell phone tower in Pollachi
Coimbatore: Suicide attempt by climbing on cell phone tower in Coimbatore caused a stir in the area. Police and fire departments negotiated and made him drop the attempt. Vijaya is from Pollachi in Coimbatore district and lives with her 2 daughters in a commercial complex in the Coimbatore flower market area. It is said that she has paid an advance of Rs. 30000 and a rent of Rs. 7000. The owner of the building is said to have disconnected the electrical and drinking water connections in the complex. Following this, Vijaya was having trouble living there.
Vijaya threatened to commit suicide by climbing on a cell phone tower in the area this evening. She said she will not get off the cell phone tower until action is taken against the building owner.
