Tirupur: Tamilnadu Anganwadi Workers and Assistants Association are protesting for the 2nd day today in front of the Tirupur Collector's Office demanding the government to implement their basic demands.

Their demands include urging the Tamilnadu government to immediately implement the announcement made by former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa at the state assembly under rule 110 which makes Anganwadi workers as civil servants and the implementation of pension funds with basic pay along with the family pension scheme.
The protestors cooked on the roads in front of the Tirupur Collector Office while continuing their protest demanding immediate action from the government.
