Kerala Police along with Coimbatore Police are now conducting a search operation in Coimbatore.

A student from Kerala who went to school yesterday was stabbed to death. When the Kerala police registered a case and investigated the murder they suspected that the accussed might have escaped to Coimbatore in Tamilnadu.
Hence the Kerala police along with Coimbatore police officials are in a manhunt for the alleged murderer.
According to the police, Rajesh is a resident near the mosque in Idukki district of Kerala. He is the father of a 17 year old girl named Reshma, who was a class 12th student from Sun Wali Higher Secondary School in Idukki.
Meanwhile, Reshma who went to school the day before yesterday did not return. Scared about this, Reshma's parents lodged a complaint at the Vellathooval police station. With the help of Reshma's relatives, the police searched for Reshma. During the search, Reshma was found stabbed to death in the chest near a house. The parents were shocked to see their daughter lying dead in a pool of blood.
Police officials then searched the area where Reshma was murdered and recovered a mobile phone. During their preliminary investigation police officials found that the phone belonged to a relative named Anu. Officials also recovered CCTV footage which shows Reshma walking on the street with Anu.
Police officials have since been on the lookout for Anu. But so far no information is available on his whereabouts. Therefore, the police say that Anu might have gone to Tamil Nadu for shelter.
