Coimbatore:45th Annual Festival of the ' Pathayathirai Group' to the Palani Temple in Valparai. On the eve of the 45th anniversary of the Palani Pathayathirai group of Murugan devotees at the Valparai Sri Subramaniya Swami Temple in Coimbatore district in a procession brought the Sakthi kumbam and Paal Kudam from the Nadumalai river for special Abhishekam and pooja.
Mayil Ganesan, former chairman of Vallikkannu City Co-operative Bank and vice chairman, inaugurated the Annathanam. Arrangements for this are being made by the festival committee chairman Maruthaiyan, Treasurer Alaguraj, Secretary Kannan and many others. A large number of devotees attended the event.
