RS Puram Multilevel car parking works 80 percent complete and will come into use by the end of next month
Coimbatore: Corporation officials said that the construction work of the multilevel car park on DB Road, RS Puram, Coimbatore is 80 percent complete. The work will be completed soon and will be operational by the end of next month.
Multilevel car parking worth Rs 42 crore
Multilevel car parking on the road is being constructed by the corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 42 crore. Earlier, a Rs 69.80 crore multi-level multi-level parking lot with 1,490 two-wheelers and 979 four-wheelers was planned on 11,000 square meters at DB Road, RS Puram. However, the plan was changed for administrative reasons.
4 tier parking facility
Following this, it was decided to hand over the multilevel parking building to the corporation management for building maintenance. The first phase of the multilevel car park will have 370 parking spaces. It is to be noted that it will be set to 4 layers. Accordingly, the first phase of the project is being started and built by the corporation administration at DB road, RS Puram. Currently 80 percent of the work has been completed.
