Tirupur: Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam launches innovative protest by releasing balloons in the air in Tirupur against rising petrol, diesel and gas cylinder prices.
Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam staged a protest in front of the Tirupur Corporation office against the sharp rise in the price of petrol, diesel and gas cylinders. Several protests by various political parties are taking place across the country in this regard.
Protesters freed balloons in the air which was printed with a picture gas cylinder on balloons to show that the price of gas cylinders had skyrocketed. They also chanted slogans against the central government.
