Coimbatore: Hindu Munnani Secretary petitions again as the bail pleas against defamation was dismissed.

Kalyanaraman, a state executive member of the BJP, was arrested for allegedly speaking slanderously about other religions during a protest on behalf of the BJP in Mettupalayam.
Condemning this, Hindu Munnani district general secretary Jaisankar, 42, was arrested for allegedly speaking in a instigating manner during a protest in Singanallur. His bail petition was filed in the JM:3 Court and was dismissed. He has now re-filed the bail petition in the Coimbatore District Sessions Court.
