Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 467 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,30,787 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,147.
Among districts, Chennai led with 136 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 49 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 52,280 today, totalling to 1,70,19,551 getting examined till date.
