Coimbatore city police intensifies surveillance at checkpoints.
Coimbatore: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Coimbatore on February 25thto inaugurate projects worth Rs 960 crores. Therefore 4 tier security has been arranged in the district. Police officials continue to be on high alert at checkpoints for suspicious individuals.
Modi is coming to Coimbatore on 25th to attend a government program and a campaign public meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Prime Minister Modi, who will arrive at Pondicherry in the morning on a private flight from Delhi, will address a public meeting there.
After completing it, he is expected to arrive at the Coimbatore International Airport by a private plane at 3 pm. There he is given a grand welcome on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Accepting it, Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the CODISSIA arena by car. There he initiates various projects, including the Keel Bhavani project and others Rs 960 crore.
