Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 470 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,30,320 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,173.
Among districts, Chennai led with 138 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 40 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 51,101 today, totalling to 1,69,67,271 getting examined till date.
