Minister SP Velumani today inaugurated ₹25.80 lakh worth of newly renovated Corporation and Sports Park at Valliyammal Road,Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: AIADMK South Coimbatore Assembly Member Amman K Arjunan and Coimbatore District Collector K Rajamani were present at an event held at the Government Women's College of Arts and Science, Puliyakulam, Coimbatore. During the event, Housing Patta, Gold for Mangalsutra, Elderly fund and various other people beneficiary schemes were given to the people as per government orders. Minister SP Velumani was the guest of honour at this occasion.
Coimbatore South MLA Amman K Arjunan addressed the gathering and said that then the land provided by the government would be increased from one cent to two cents and that the government hospital in Coimbatore would be upgraded with modern facilities. He then said that the minister has provided 30 lakh rupees worth of cancer treatment equipment to the Coimbatore government hospital from the Tamil Nadu government which will make the government hospital be better equipped with facilities similar to private hospitals.
Coimbatore South MLA Amman K Arjunan also said that the Chief Minister was going to open the Coimbatore Smart City project for public use on the 25th and also said that it was Minister SP Velumani who made the necessary works for the establishment of Women's Arts College possible in Puliyakulam.

He then said that Land Pattta worth Rs 69.62 crore will be provided to the people during this event and various other schemes like Amma Vahanam, Women Loans will be given during this event.
