Student playing in school suddenly faints and dies in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: A 9th class student who was playing in a private school near Vadavalli in Coimbatore has suddenly fainted and died. Maruthachalam is call taxi driver from Kurumbapalayam area,Vedapatti in Coimbatore. His eldest daughter Booma (14) was a 9th standard student in a private school in Vadavalli area. Booma who came to school as usual today was apparently running and playing on the school campus during the afternoon play time. Then student Booma suddenly fainted on the field.
The fellow students informed the teachers. The teachers took the student to a nearby private hospital. But as the girl's condition was critical she was rushed to Coimbatore Government Hospital by ambulance. But the student died as treatment failed. Vadavalli police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. The first phase of the investigation revealed that the student had a heart condition and was receiving treatment for it. The incident in which a girl who was playing with her friends falling unconscious and dying has saddened everyone in the locality.
