Coimbatore: R Dhinakaran IPS who was serving as Inspector General.of Police, Additional Commissioner Of Police (L&O) South, Greater Chennai Police will take charge as the IG of West Zone, Coimbatore, in place of K. Periaiah.
And, K Periaiah has been transferred as IG of Police, General, Chennai.
