Congress organise rally protesting against agriculture laws and rising fuel price in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: A protest rally was held in Coimbatore against the Central Government condemning the agriculture laws, supporting the struggling farmers in Delhi and condemning the increase in petrol, diesel and gas prices on February 16th.
Coimbatore North District Youth Congress President GV Naveenkumar coordinated the event. State General Secretaries K S Maheshkumar and Pachaimuthu were present as special invitees. Saravanampatti Circle President Raghuram, District Secretary Samuel Das, Divisional Heads Royal V Shanmugam, S Murugesan, P Ramalingam, A Gopal, Ganapathy Ashok, Seva Dal District Chairman Akash and Circle and Division Youth Congress executives were present.
At the beginning of the rally, a floral tribute was paid to the farmers who fought and sacrificed their lives in New Delhi protesting against agriculture laws.
