A 50 year old man arrested for videotaping a girl during her bath.
Coimbatore: A 15 year old school going girl from Karumathampatti was complaining about stomach ache to her parents. After this the parents took the girl to a government hospital for a consultation. Doctors who checked the girl found the girl to be pregnant for four months.
Shocked by the news, the parents enquired the girl about this incident. The girl revealed that her relative Mohan (45) who was drunk physically assaulted her.
The girl also said that Mohan had threatened to kill her if she revealed about the assault. Parents then filed a complaint at the Vellore police station. Inspector Ananthanayaki arrested Mohan under POCSO act for assaulting the 15 year old.
In another incident a 50-year-old man from Dindigul district videotaped a school student taking a bath with his cell phone. The girl who was shocked by this incident told her parents. Following this the man was arrested and imprisoned under the POCSO Act. The incident has caused a stir in the area.
