Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 470 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,29,388 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,206.
Among districts, Chennai led with 149 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 40 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 50,800 today, totalling to 1,68,63,820 getting examined till date.
