Says minorities have nothing to fear under AIADMK government.
Coimbatore: Tamilnadu Chief Minister and AIADMK Deputy General Secretary Edapadi Palanisamy took part in the state conference of the Tamilaga Christian Democratic Federation which was held in CODISSIA complex Coimbatore.
During the event Edapadi Palanisamy stated that "Law and order is completely under control and is in safe hands, both during Puratchi Thalaivi Amma's rule and now even after her demise. Minister's and I have been visiting churches and mosques for prayers. Welfare of minorities was the dream of Makkal Thilagam MGR and Puratchi Thalaivi Amma and its AIADMK's policy to protect the minorities and it has not changed now."
He also stated that "AIADMK party works for the minority people and not for the sake of votes. Minorities have nothing to fear."
Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy then assured the members of the Tamilaga Christian Democratic Federation that burial grounds for the Christian community will be arranged post discussion with officials.
